The name “Neon” came from the acronym Nonprofit Enterprise Online Network. ‘One’ refers to the unity of the capabilities included in the system.

Usage

In Client and Company Communication

Neon One should be written as two separate words, in title case capitalization. Please be kind to our brand and keep a positive attitude when referring to Neon One.

Neon One may be included in third-party applications or to promote your business only with the Neon One Marketing Team's approval. If you refer to Neon One in an article or webpage, you may use the text or logo to link to our website.

Partnership

Your business may refer to yourselves as part of the Neon One Network Advantage Program (NAP) or Consultant and Agency Program (CAP) only if you have been formally approved as a partner with our company. Terminology around Partners and Partnership should only be used if your business has been officially certified as part of those programs.

Nomenclature

These guidelines set a standard convention for naming that all Neon One products should follow.

Use "Neon One" as a reference to our company and each of its modules. If you need to clarify a specific module or feature, you may do so using a product name.

  • Example: “Neon One is a fully integrated system you can use to raise money, manage volunteers, and build real relationships with the people in your community” (refers to Neon One as a whole).
  • Example: “You can use Neon One’s donor database to manage relationships with individual supporters” (refers to a specific tool/feature in Neon One).
  • Example: “Processing and managing transactions with Neon Pay has several advantages” (refers to a specific tool/feature in Neon One).
  • Example: “Theaters who use Arts People can create custom seating charts” (refers to a specific tool/feature in Neon One).
